International Business Law 5 credits

Course content

International Business Law introduces you to the legal frameworks that shape global commerce and cross-border management. You will learn about the main legal systems and principles governing international business and explore how these frameworks influence business operations, contracts, and decision-making in an international context. As global business increasingly moves into the digital domain, the course examines key legal challenges related to data protection (including GDPR), cybersecurity, digital marketing, e-commerce, consumer protection, and competition law. You will also study intellectual property rights to understand how innovation and brand value can be protected across jurisdictions. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the course equips you with the ability to identify legal risks, integrate compliance into business strategy, and make responsible decisions in international markets. It prepares you to act with awareness, responsibility, and confidence as a future manager or entrepreneur in complex global environments.
