School of Education and Communication

At the School of Education and Communication, digitalisation, inclusion, and sustainability are key guiding principles. We conduct research in learning practices and sustainable communication and have a national mandate to disseminate knowledge on lifelong learning. Through our multifaceted activities, we offer education and research that provide clear value to both academia and society.

We offer teacher education programmes as well as undergraduate and graduate programmes in communication, global studies, and human resources. Close collaboration with the surrounding society is important to us, including offering tailored professional development and engaging in extensive partnerships for work-based training (VFU – workplace-based education).

Teaching and research at the School of Education and Communication aims constantly to add new aspects to what we already know and open up fresh platforms for knowledge, interaction and communication. The research profile EduCom is a broad framework intended to accommodate concepts and theories from the six research environments at the School of Education and Communication.
