Forskning

Petra Weckström är tillförordnad verksamhetsansvarig på Örebro rättighetscenter och affilierad forskare vid Encell och Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation.
Petras forskningsintressen rör handens och gestaltandets kunskaper och om normer och makt kring lärande och hur det kan utmanas och förändras. En drivkraft är att bidra till ett solidaritetsbaserat samhälle där fler tas i anspråk och bidrar i samhällsutvecklingen - livet igenom.

Biografi

Petra Weckström har en lång erfarenhet av ledande positioner inom kultur- och civilsamhällessektorn på regional och nationell nivå. Bland annat som VD för Örebro Teater (2014-2021) och som teknisk chef på Riksteatern (2021-2023). Petra har varit involverad i och lett ett flertal samhällsutvecklings- och forskningsprojekt där erfarenhetsutbyte och samverkan mellan akademi, kultur och folkbildning varit en viktig parameter. Petra driver den tvärsektoriella tankesmedjan DoIT (Delaktighet och Inkluderingstankesmedja) tillsammans med Sangeeta Bagga-Gupta sedan 2016.
